(This “to do list” is intended to provide a synopsis of a few of the tasks normally started or performed during this month. The list is obviously not exhaustive in nature and is designed only as a “reminder” to be supplemented by each Personnel/Human Resources Department’s specific duties.)


  • Process employment of consultants
  • Finalize staffing lists
  • Training:

∼ Staff development – new employees

  • Finalize or continue collective bargaining process
  • Review and update job descriptions
  • Update personnel budget
  • Determine faculty stipends in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement
  • Print CBAs for August distribution to employees and board
  • Plan and conduct new staff orientation
  • Review employee and program evaluation schedules (see CBA, board policy, statute and administrative regulations) with all supervisors
