Administrator and Board Training
As a service to our clients, we have conducted training and in-service programs for negotiation teams, management teams, governing boards, Site-Councils, administrative councils, and other administrative personnel. These programs can be delivered electronically or on-site.
Board Policy Development and Review
The operational heart of school and college districts are often memorialized in the policies of its governing board. As such, a district is necessarily benefited by an annual review of any and all written board of education policies. In our judgment, the degree to which a school or college district carefully and consistently manages its policies is manifested in the beneficial aspects of efficiency, effectiveness, and the overall well-being of the educational institution.
Job Classification and Description Development
Often times employee job descriptions are not current nor in compliance with legislative recommendations and mandates. With constantly evolving legal requirements for worker’s compensation, disability, and reasonable accommodations, job descriptions should be a high priority. If there is ever a reason to defend against a disability or worker’s compensation claim, the first thing a hearing officer will ask for is the employee’s job description.
