    Ms. Napier is an associate with the Erickson Law Firm A.P.C.

    Ms. Napier earned her Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2014. During law school, Ms. Napier interned with San Diego Unified School District, soon thereafter, interning with the Human Resources Department at Yuba Community College District. Ms. Napier also holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Education from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

    Ms. Napier’s practice involves advising community college, school district, charter school, and district-affiliated research foundation clients on compliance with state and federal laws, including issues involving public school and education law, public employment and labor relations law, and discrimination law, including employee discipline, contract employee non-renewals, work hour scheduling, assignment of duties, compliance with applicable wage and hour laws, and decisions to expand or reduce education services. She has advised clients on matters involving board meeting procedures and public notice requirements, public bidding requirements and service contracts, school district formation and reorganization, district boundaries, and charter school oversight.

    Ms. Napier has experience with all aspects of collective bargaining agreement negotiations, including permissive and mandatory subjects of bargaining, proposal and counter proposal development, contract language drafting, grievance procedures, PERB Unfair Practice considerations, impasse mediation and arbitration preparation, and impasse message control.

    Ms. Napier has previous experience representing clients in mediations, settlement conferences and civil court proceedings.

    Ms. Napier is a member of the California State Bar, and has volunteered with local non-profit organizations throughout San Diego County.
